Shri Dharmik Nishkam Sewa Trust celebrates 1st foundation day

Shri Dharmik Nishkam Sewa Trust, a social and religious organisation of Punjabi Bagh celebrated its first foundation day on 29th March 2009. Main attractions of the programme were ‘Shobha Yatra’ and ‘Bhajan Sandhya’. Bhai Mahavir Sharma and Pawan Kumar Gupta recited the Bhajans on the occasion.

Farewell Function at Kinder-Care

West Punjabi Bagh based preparatory school- Kinder Care organised a graceful function to bid farewell to its outgoing students. The function included various cultural, sports and academic programmes by tiny-tots of the school. Among all the activities, the Punjabi Bhangra by the small kids was the main attraction of the programme. The pretty children presented songs and poems in English and Hindi both. The kids were suitably awarded for their efforts and presentation.

Dhingra Park morning-walkers bless Ajay Makan

Ajay Makan- the union minister of state for urban development and congress candidate from Delhi West Lok Sabha seat visited Dhingra park in East Punjabi Bagh. During his visit Makan greeted the morning-walkers of the park and sought their blessings for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Lala Ram Goyal passes away

Lala Ram Goyal, a renowned social worker of Punjabi Bagh breathed his last at his residence in Chhannamal Park recently. As told by his son Radhey Shayam Goyal, Late Shri Lala Ram Goyal remained totally absorbed in the social welfare of the the agarwal community and worked with zeal for the upliftment of the downtrodden. The ‘Rasam Pagari’ was performed at his residence itself.
