Maharaja Agarsen Hospital Strike Ends |

As told by Ram Kumar Gupta,Chairman Maharaja Agarsen Hospital, Punjabi Bagh, the fortnight long strike by staff nurses have come to an end and almost all of them have resumed their duties.
The staff nurses had gone on strike demanding better salaries and
perks. According to Shri Gupta, Ms Kiran Walia, Health Minister, Delhi
and Shri Mangat Ram Singhal, Social Welfare Minister, Delhi took
initiative to resolve the stalemate. With nursing staff resuming the
duty, the hospital has started functioning as usual. Shri Gupta said
that keeping in view the changing pattern, a new advisory committee has
been constituted to avoid any re-occurrence of such incidents.
