Punjabi Bagh Club welcomes New Year |

The Punjabi Bagh club, a renowned club of Delhi welcomed the New Year 2010 with a musical note. A gathering of about 5000 people danced zealously on the songs sung by pop-singer Dilbagh Singh.
The ecstasy was at its full bloom when the clock struck 12 and announced the entry of New Year 2010.
The show of fire works also made the moments more colorful. Inspite of
the repeated requests from the organizers the participants were hardly
ready to stop dancing and go home. It was 1.00 am when the organizers
switched off the music system that people stopped dancing. The efforts
of Amarjit Singh Makkad, Chairman cultural committee and his team of
other club members made the occasion a memorable event. The programme
concluded after assurance from Shri Makkad to organize another such
programme on the eve of Baisakhi falling on 13th April 2010.
